If it’s your first time booking with Folsom Clean and your home hasn’t been professionally cleaned in the last month, we recommend adding the First Time Clean option from the Extras section during booking. This gives our cleaning team the time they need to deliver the high-quality results we’re known for. Once your First Time Clean is complete, our Standard Clean is ideal for ongoing weekly, biweekly, or monthly service.
What’s Included in a Standard Clean:
Living Areas & Bedrooms
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Remove cobwebs
- Dust all surfaces and items
- Clean ceiling fans and light fixtures
- Dust blinds and air vents
- Make beds
- Wipe down switch plates
- Clean and disinfect doorknobs
- Wipe down door frames and facings
- Wipe window sills
- Vacuum baseboards
- Vacuum under furniture (items over 20 lbs will not be lifted)
- Wipe down furniture
Bathrooms
- Clean and disinfect countertops, sinks, tubs, showers, and fixtures
- Clean and disinfect toilets
- Clean and disinfect floors
- Clean mirrors
- Dust and clean ceiling fans and light fixtures
- Dust blinds and air vents
- Clean exterior of cabinets and drawers
- Remove cobwebs
- Vacuum any carpeting
- Empty trash and wipe down trash cans
- Wipe switch plates
- Clean and disinfect doorknobs
- Wipe down door frames and facings
- Wipe window sills
- Wipe down baseboards
Kitchen
- Sweep and mop floors
- Thorough dusting of all surfaces
- Remove cobwebs
- Clean ceiling fans and light fixtures
- Dust blinds and air vents
- Clean and disinfect sinks, fixtures, and countertops
- Clean exterior of all appliances
- Clean exterior of cabinets and drawers
- Clean and disinfect microwave (inside and out)
- Wipe exterior of range hood
- Clean stove top, burners, drip pans, and knobs
- Polish stainless steel surfaces
- Empty trash and wipe down trash can
- Wipe switch plates
- Clean and disinfect doorknobs
- Wipe down door frames and facings
- Wipe window sills
- Wipe down baseboards
- Vacuum under furniture (items over 20 lbs will not be lifted)
